• Don’t doubt or second-guess yourself

• Set Relationship boundaries and define your role

• Understand the impact of the boundaries 

• Understand that you are not going to win a popularity contest

• Understand that the Family unit and dynamics mimic the real world and our responses to it – In other words, you are creating a mini-world/reality

• Don’t take things too personally - It is not about you.
