The reason why I have decided to include my travel history is to emphasise the life experiences that I have gained through my travels.
I had the privilege to travel the world extensively and during my travels, I have always tried to embrace the different cultures and made a conscious effort to respect the values of the people.
I had the exhilarating experience of climbing (and summiting) Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest mountain in Africa. I often use my experience on the mountain to relate it to real-world hardships and challenges as well as to the victory of pushing through till the bitter-sweet end!
I have been on a spiritual journey to Tibet for 18 days and experienced the sanctuaries of Buddhist monks.
I have lived amongst the nomads of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia, where I watched the eclipse of Venus as part of a NASA team of scientists and astronauts.
I have crossed the Arctic Circle and visited Santa Clause at his North Pole residence during my visit to Lapland. I slept in a glass igloo to witness the Northern Lights. I traveled through the snow on a dog sled and spent a night in an ice hotel where literally everything was entirely made of ice!
I walked on the Great Wall of China and touched the ancient rocks of Stonehenge.
I rode on a camel in the Egyptian desert and raced through the desert in a sandstorm on my way to Mount Sinai.
I swam in the Red Sea amongst thousands of jellyfish at Ras-um-sid and sailed on the Nile. I experienced the inside of the great pyramids of Giza where Pharos were buried.
I have also visited Nepal, Russia, Denmark, Kelt, Estonia, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Malaysia, Italy, Ireland, Scotland, United Kingdom, France, Mongolia, Tanzania, Seychelles, China, Thailand, Philippines, Canary Islands, Spain, United States, Egypt, Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Zambia, Kenya, Swaziland, Lesotho.
Our experiences make up our stories - Our stories make us who we are.
